GEO Benefits Summary

GEO is offers rich and comprehensive benefits to support the wellbeing of our staff. Employees who work 30 or more hours are eligible for several benefits.

Benefits Include...

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Employees and their legal spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children are all eligible for our medical, dental and vision coverage. Our medical insurance includes virtual visits, mental health services, and more. GEO covers the cost of medical premiums insurance at 100% for Employees and 80% for spouses, domestic partners and dependent children.

403(b) Retirement Benefits

All full-time employees are eligible for a 403(b)-retirement plan.  Employees are immediately eligible to make voluntary contributions to the plan. On the first of the month, following six months of employment, GEO will contribute 7% of an employee’s compensation to the employee’s account.

Leave

GEO provides fifteen days (15) paid annual leave/vacation, increasing to twenty (20) days after a year of employment; twelve days (12) paid wellness (sick) leave and paid parental leave with no waiting period. 

Holidays

GEO recognizes most federal holidays including: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous’ People’s Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after) and is closed one week in the summer months for a summer break and the last two weeks in December for a winter break. We also provide two “floating holidays” per year.

Transportation

After 30 days of employment, employees are eligible for Metro Smart Benefits/Parking Reimbursement up to $100 per month.

Wellness Benefit

GEO offers an annual wellness benefit after 30 days of employment to support: Yoga classes, Pilates, art therapy, race registrations, gym memberships, therapy sessions, massages, nutrition counseling, personal trainer and fitness gadgets, equipment, etc. The amount is confirmed and paid out to eligible employees at the beginning of each calendar year. 

Professional Development

GEO offers a professional development stipend annually for staff to meet organization-wide goals as well as funds for external training opportunities.

Additional Benefits

Additional benefits include life, accidental death and dismemberment, as well as short & long-term disability insurance for all employees. All GEO staff have access to a state-of-the-art gym and locker room on site for no additional cost.

GEO’s benefit offerings may change from time to time. Candidates selected for positions will be provided a summary of benefits in effect at time of application.
