How can CEOs/Executive Directors and board leaders collaborate to shift grantmaker board culture and practice toward a more equitable, meaningful, and valuable relationship with the organization? Because this is an action-oriented conversation, we are inviting CEOs/EDs and change-oriented board leaders to attend together as pairs. This conversation has emerged from a growing excitement around the potential for more valuable governance in our sector. Because GEO members are committed to transforming philanthropy, GEO is developing a learning initiative to support grantmakers who are exploring and making changes to their governance practices, structure and culture as an important lever for change. This 1.5-day roundtable conversation will bring together an intimate group of pairs of CEOs/Executive Directors and board leaders who are asking similar questions and imagining new ways of working in service of their missions.
