Often working with outstanding partner organizations, GEO's skill-building seminars are tailored for a grantmaking audience. GEO is currently working with the Interaction Institute for Social Change to offer in mid 2008 a 2-day intensive on stakeholder engagement.This planned learning opportunity will provide you the tools and skills necessary to more effectively build collaborative relationships with your grantees. Specifically, you will learn how to:
- strike the appropriate balance between results, process and relationship;
- seek maximum appropriate involvement from stakeholders; and
- facilitate agreement among diverse groups.
GEO has also developed shorter workshops based on the action and discussion guides we've produced, including:
- Investing in Leadership
- General Operating Support
- Learning for Results
How often do you get to engage in such learning with other grantmaking leaders? By participating in these learning opportunities you will benefit form the opportunity to learn with your peers-- grantmakers trying to accomplish similar types of change within their organizations and in the broader community.
In all of GEO's highly interactive offerings, you will address real challenges you face in your work.
